Posthuman is the fourth studio album by the American hardcore band Harm's Way. The album was released on February 9, 2018 and marked the band's first release through Metal Blade Records. Vocalist James Pligge says the album is influenced to a smaller extent by Slipknot, but to a larger extent Triptykon and Machine Head. Harm's Way promoted the album with music videos for "Become a Machine" and "Last Man", and online streams of "Human Carrying Capacity" and "Call My Name".

The packaging and coloring of this pressing are stunning, the end of side A and beginning and ending of side B have noticeable noise but the mastering is so much better than on the digital version. The philosophy of Harm’s Way is the best offense is as much offense as possible. The Chicago band began as a hardcore group with some powerviolence thrown in, but soon juiced it all up with beefcake breakdowns and got ready to brawl. Isolation in 2011 and Blinded in 2013 injected that hardcore with Swedish death metal while never abandoning their roots
Harms Way however is not a straight-out aggression band, ‘Temptation’ is a track full of haunting echoes and ‘The Gift’ displays the bands diversity as they utilise their Electronic side. Become a Machine’ is bound to be a live favourite with its high-speed aggression matched by plenty of pitting opportunities.
Album · 2018 · 10 Songs. On their fourth album, metallic hardcore heavyweights Harms Way deliver a vitriolic screed on the dangers of technological obsession, overpopulation, and the cosmic insignificance of the human race.
