Extensions is an album by jazz pianist McCoy Tyner released on the Blue Note label. It was recorded on February 9, 1970 and released in January 1973. It features performances by Tyner with Gary Bartz, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Elvin Jones, and has Alice Coltrane on three tracks.

Reissued, Remastered. This 1967 quartet was McCoy Tyner's first for Blue Note as a leader, although he had frequently recorded as a sideman for the label-with Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, and Grant Green, among others. One of the last recordings produced by Blue Note founder Alfred Lion, and Tyner's first as a leader since leaving the legendary John Coltrane Quartet two years before, the session has a special quality. Fresh out of Coltrane's ensemble, Tyner wasted no time in creating this album, and it is a beautiful piano driven album from start to finish.
The Real McCoy is the seventh album by jazz pianist McCoy Tyner and his first released on the Blue Note label . A man reflecting on what religion means to him, reflecting on the meaning of life. The album closes with an upbeat, merry piece called "Blues on the Corner", a reminiscent musical portrait of Tyner's childhood: "When I was growing up in Philadelphia, some of the kids I knew liked to hang out on the corner youngsters talking, kidding around, jiving.
