1. When Even Tomorrow Looks Away. Tape version was released by Folterkammer Records, limited to 500 copies. 위기는 여전한데 심심한 감이 좀 크다. Home.
Unfortunately, the drum production is pretty shitty and the rather empty sound of the echoing acoustic guitars only serves to highlight the sloppy drumming. I would say that the split is worth getting for Austere’s side but, if you do manage to get your hands on it, you’re probably better off forgetting about Isolation’s side. Whatever redeeming qualities it may have, the vocals will make you want to kill yourself. Austere go from strength to strength - 88%. Zephirus, November 25th, 2008. I was drawn to this spilt album on the strength of material Austere has written previously and here they do not disappoint and are also the stronger band. In fact this material is probably their best yet.
Band Name Austere (AUS). Released date September 2008. On the Austere side, one of the most impressive things on their two tracks are is the production, which is amazingly clear for a dsbm release. There is also an added maturity to the song-writing since their 1st release, Withering Illusions and Desolation. The songs have an amazing feel to them, with some brilliant melodies included. Also the length of the songs is right, as they do not drag at all. Overall, i would say this is my favourite Austere release. When i heard the Lyrinx tracks, I must admit i was blown away! What an amazing band. Another surprising aspect is what seems to be a guitar solo on isolation. It's a pity that these 2 tracks seem to be their only release, I would love to hear more from them. Overall then, an exceptional release.
Bleak by AUSTERE, ISOLATION, released 20 September 2008 1. AUSTERE - When even tomorrow looks away 2. AUSTERE - Instrumental 3. AUSTERE - There's Nothing Left. to Nowhere Bleak is the adjective chosen by the two entities to name their collaboration. You could not have thought of a more appropriate term to describe the audial content of this masterpiece
