This page is a discography for the musician Mike Oldfield. Although the introduction theme was used in The Exorcist, Tubular Bells (1973) was not a soundtrack album. Oldfield was commissioned to produce the music for NASA's The Space Movie in 1979; no soundtrack album was released at the time. However a DVD and CD soundtrack (though the CD content is just the audio track from the DVD, including voiceovers and sound effects) were issued in October 2015.
Crises is the eighth record album by Mike Oldfield, released in 1983 on Virgin Records. Oldfield's well known hits "Moonlight Shadow" and "Shadow on the Wall" appear on the album. The title track of the album is a twenty-minute-long piece, featuring a small amount of vocals, sung by Oldfield. The beginning and end of the track are driven by a synthesised lead passage, stylistically similar to the opening theme to Oldfield's Tubular Bells.

Mike Oldfield’s fifth album was partially recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, and the title suite especially nods to the bustle of the city at the time. Impeccably arranged and produced, the album was released in November 1979. It was Oldfield’s first album that included shorter songs, including a beautiful version of George Gershwin’s I Got Rhythm, and a new arrangement of North Star by Philip Glass. A sequel to Oldfield’s 1973 Tubular Bells and his 1992 Tubular Bells II albums, it was released on the 25th anniversary of the first Tubular Bells album. Guitars is a record album written and performed by Mike Oldfield, released in 1999.

Mike Oldfield was already recording his next album, Hergest Ridge, when he produced this new piece to be released outside North America, in place of the American single. Instead of using either of the 2 popular excerpts from that single, Oldfield chose to re-arrange a section of "Tubular Bells part 2", the so-called "guitars sounding like bagpipes" section, now presented in a pastoral arrangement similar to much of Hergest Ridge, and featuring Lindsay Cooper on oboe, who had played a similar section on Hergest Ridge. This version fades out slightly earlier, although some labels quote the UK mix's timing. Mike Oldfield's Single (Theme from Mike Oldfield's album 'Tubular Bells')" - (Oldfield) 4:33. Froggy Went A-Courting" - (traditional, arr. Oldfield) 4:25.
