Slayers Gorgeous (スレイヤーズごうじゃす Sureiyāzu Gōjasu?) is a 1998 comic fantasy anime film written by Hajime Kanzaka and directed by Hiroshi Watanabe. Gorgeous is the fourth film in the Slayers saga and the final anime entry in the prequels to the main series.
Slayers: The Motion Picture, also called Slayers Perfect, is a short movie that serves as a prequel to the television series that aired in 1995. The movie itself was released in July of 1995, after approximately half the television series had run its course. As for the story itself, Slayers Perfect starts off comedic, dabbles in a bit of mystery, and ends off with a short battle and some celebrations. You can even find a bit of a moral in the last five minutes of the movie if you squint. Slayers: The Motion Picture may not have a bad idea for a plot (far from it), but it does suffer from being a bit rushed. Some scenes have awkward transitioning and the movie's pacing alternates from being too slow or too fast at varying points during its runtime of about sixty-five minutes.

Format: Animated, Color, Subtitled, NTSC. I bought this w/o having seen it first. I love the Slayers series, but most of the OVA's are not very good. This plot has been done before in the TV series. With Prince Phil in Seiran. Lina and Naga enter a kngidon that has been usurped by the dragon master, Marlene. An ancient beast is unsealed and comes to destroy the kingdom. You know who has to stop it. What a waste of everyone's time. I have all of the Slayers entries and this one is tied for the worst with the awful "Slayers Great".
As for "Slayers Return," "Slayers Great," "Slayers Gorgeous," and the Slayers OVAs; most of their music was regugitated from the first film, with a few sparce new songs to jazz up the track. One thing you'll notice in this soundtrack above, is that one song stands out from the rest. It's a jazz song that sounds nothing like the rest of the orchestral music. Nor does it sound like the slightly more weird music for the bar and tavern sequences, but at least those songs fit within the realm of Slayers, since Slayers is a mishmash of time periods
