Timothy Alan Friese-Greene is an English musician and producer. He worked with the band Talk Talk from 1983 to their breakup in 1991. He currently releases solo albums under the name "Heligoland". He is the grandson of filmmaker Claude Friese-Greene and great-grandson of photographer and inventor William Friese-Greene

He was recruited to assist with the recording of their second album It's My Life and he soon became the band's producer and de facto fourth member as a keyboardist and Mark Hollis frequent songwriting partner, so he co-wrote all the songs on The Colour Of Spring, Spirit Of Eden and Laughing Stock. Although a major contributor to the band's studio output, Tim Friese-Greene did not regularly play with the touring band, and was absent from the band's publicity material. CaCl 007. Tim Friese-Greene is an English musician and producer. He's known for having produced, co-written, and performed on four of Talk Talk's albums between 1984 and 1991. He has released an EP and two albums under the name Heligoland. His first album released under his own name, '10 Sketches For Piano Trio' was released in June 2009 on LTM records. He is the grandson of filmmaker Claude Friese-Greene and great-grandson of photographer and inventor William Friese-Greene. Friese-Greene co-produced the second release of Thomas Dolby's The Golden Age of Wireless (1982), which included the "She Blinded Me with Science" single, and Blue Zoo's Two By Two (1983)
