Russian Circles have announced their new album Blood Year. The Chicago post-rock trio’s seventh studio album arrives August 2 via Sargent House. Today, Russian Circles have released the album’s first single Arluck. Listen to the track below and scroll down for Blood Year’s tracklist. Blood Year follows Russian Circles’ 2016 record Guidance. They worked with Converge’s Kurt Ballou on the new album, which was tracked at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio in Chicago. Russian Circles head out on tour later this year. Concentric Circles is an album by jazz saxophonist Chris Potter that was released by Concord in 1994. All but two songs on this set are his originals and on some pieces Potter utilizes some overdubbing.

6h 42m. Ewert & the Two Dragons - Circles Digital Download. Circles have a djenty style of music. The stuttering riffs they use are interesting right off the bat, but I find that their keys are what really draw me into the music. However, the album is simply flat and uninteresting. I hope that Circles takes this to heart and remembers that technical finesse is nothing without purpose and melody.
