Suck It and See is the fourth studio album by English rock band Arctic Monkeys, released on 6 June 2011 by Domino Recording Company. It was produced by the band's longtime collaborator James Ford and was recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, with Ford and drummer Matt Helders promising to deliver a more "instant", "poppy", and "vintage" sound in comparison to the band's darker, polarising previous album Humbug (2009).

Their fourth album Suck It and See sees the band exploring styles, mixing them with newfound maturity. Turner said: "I think the new album is a balance between our first three. There's nothing about taxi ranks or anything like that, but there's a bit of the standpoint I had on those early songs and the sense of humour, but also there's a bit of the 'Humbug' stuff which is kind of off in the corners.

The Coathangers' fourth full-length album, 2014's Suck My Shirt, still sounds as gloriously primitive as ever, but it's clear that seven years into their career, their approach to songcraft has matured and tightened up quite a bit, and the departure of keyboard player Candice Jones has turned this group into a leaner and meaner three piece. With a title like Suck My Shirt, it's clear that no one in the band is asking us to start taking them seriously, but there sure is less goofiness here and a keener sense of purpose

With Fake Problems between album cycles and You Blew It! having just released their debut full-length last year, this split serves as the perfect opportunity for both bands to show where they currently stand musically. You can’t help but feel a father-and-son vibe with Fake Problems’ polished indie punk followed by You Blew It!’s greener, looser take on rock ‘n roll. Fake Problems kicks the split off with Small Devil Song, a slightly playful track with Chris Farren’s immediately recognizable vocals sitting front and center. Both bands have proven that Florida Doesn’t Suck, with Fake Problems maintaining what they do best, and You Blew It! showing they have the potential to become much bigger than they already are. This split is just another step in both bands’ careers as we eagerly await what the rest of the year holds for both of them.

If 'Dissed and Dismissed' mined '70s power pop for its influences, 'Confront the Truth' is working in a '60s framework. Molina is flexing his inner Lennon and it makes for a soft, gorgeous contemplative album without a wasted second. Kill The Lights by Tony Molina.

Suck barely got out of the gate before being put out to pasture for good. Still, the boys managed to lay down nine studio tracks that hint at what could have been. Suck’s sole composition, The Whip, is a fire-brand brooder, something of a cross between Black Sabbath and early Blue Oyster Cult, with a lumbering riff and bruising Ionnides vocal. The remaining eight tracks are covers
