Jason Sloan is an electronic musician, sound artist, composer and professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland.

Sloan is a Canadian, Toronto-based rock band originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sloan has released twelve full-length albums, two EPs, a live album, a greatest hits album and more than 30 singles. The band has received nine Juno Award nominations, winning one. The band is known for their sharing of songwriting and lead vocals from each member of the group and their unaltered line-up throughout their career.

Sasha Sloan (born March 11, 1995) is a Russian-American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Sasha Sloan (born Alexandra Artourovna Yatchenko) grew up outside of Boston. She taught herself to play on a piano her mother purchased when she was five. Her grandparents lived in Siberia, and she spent summers on their farm there as a child. When Sloan was nineteen, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a songwriter; she worked at a coffee shop to support herself
